In the late seventies Blueshift Instruments Research and Development was born while providing overnite prosthetic device development services to a local Occupational Therapist. Later for a time, it involved itself with dairy obstetrics and a bovine medicinal delivery patch device technology. At the same time, useing the patch technology ( 1983 ) it started development of a retrofit dairy automation concept known as the Teat-end Sanitation System -or- "TESS ©" , this was a dairy animal prophylactic and identification device with a payload capacity allowing for and providing various degrees of automation to the common dairy milking routine, via an existing OEM Automatic Take Off systems retrofit ( Blue-Max © ) or a stand alone function.
Finally beginning in 1989 and to date, Blueshift Instruments also involves itself with aerial display explosives design and delivery systems; It continues to do Research and Development in various sub-system disciplines including Aviation, Dairy Animal Agricultural Pasture and Crops, and Aerial Display Explosives.
